The Sorting Hat is a sentient Hogwarts artifact which magically determines to which of the four school Houses each new student is to be assigned. These four Houses are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

Welcome to the Gryffindor Guild. Inspired by fantasy and built by gaming freaks. We are a small, but growing group of teenagers residing in the virtual, gaming world of Luna Online, Malaysian plus Singaporean server.

The Gryffindor Guild emphasises the traits of courage as well as “daring, nerve and chivalry”, and thus its members are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness. However The Gyrffindor Guild promotes and have the highest regards for peace and prosperity. We believe in interplayer friendship and we encourage our members and non-members alike to respect one another well, inside and outside our virtual world at Luna.

Prior to the merger between Luna’s Malaysian and Singaporeans servers, that is before September 17th 2009, The Gryffindor Guild is a Level 5 status guild having full Level 5 buffing capabilities. After that, like many other of our fellow guilds in Alker town, we became ‘casualties’ of the coming together of 2 nations; our guilds, friends lists, families and farm ownerships were unexpectedly reset to cater for the server merging exercise. And we began from ground zero once more, and here we are today, united again as a team; as The Gyrffindor Guild.

The Gryffindor Guild @ Luna MY/SG is founded in July 2009 by Evander and its founding members include ArwenElf, CHumBa, Allisa and bcwl95.

The Gryffindor Guild is a participating member of the Hogwarts Union and currently together with us in unionship are guilds Exodus and DarkeNRangE.
